The properties at La Boulinerie are offered for rental subject to receipt of a 25% non-refundable deposit. The balance of the rent is payable not less than eight weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by this date, the owner reserves the right to give notice by e-mail that the reservation may be cancelled. Reservations made within eight weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.

All amounts paid for the letting of the property are non-refundable. Clients are advised to take out holiday insurance, which should cover cancellation refunds, loss of personal belongings and personal liability.

All breakages should be paid for or replaced. We are obliged to insist on damage cover by an active credit card.

The rental period shall commence at 4.00pm on the first day, and finish at 10.00am on the last day. The owner shall not be obliged to offer accommodation before the stated time and the client shall not be entitled to stay in occupation after the time stated. Clients must arrive between 4:00pm and 8:00pm on the day of arrival unless prior arrangements have been made. Note that early arrivals can sometimes be accommodated, please ‘phone to see if suitable arrangements can be made if you wish to arrive a few hours early.

The maximum numbers to occupy each property are clearly stated on each property description. These numbers must not be exceeded.

The client agrees to be a considerate tenant, to take good care of the property, and to leave it in good condition at the end of the rental period. The client also agrees not to act in any way that would cause disturbance to those in residence in neighbouring properties.

 

The client shall report to the owners without delay any defects in the property or equipment so that repair/replacement can be made as soon as possible.

The owner shall not be liable to the client:
• For any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property, or of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in the property, garden or swimming pool.
• For any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the owner’s control.
• For any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the client if the property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such event, the owner shall refund to the client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.
