Superb accommodation for the summer with direct access to the swimming pool terrace. 

Les Boulins is perfect as a centre for early or late season holidays with proximity to golf courses and an easy drive to the Loire Valley, La Rochelle or Bordeaux. 

This house is also popular for Christmas and New Year with its roaring open yuletide fire and kitchen woodburner for mulled wine. Fully heated, all heating costs including logs for the fires are included in off-season tarrifs.

Entering the sitting room from the courtyard through french windows - another door leads to a secluded, shady flower garden behind the house.

The sitting room features a beamed ceiling and an impressive stone fireplace. There is also a television/DVD player.

The large kitchen/dining room has a beamed ceiling, terracotta tiled floor and a old stone fireplace with a wood burning stove. It opens onto the wistaria-covered pool terrace where there is patio furniture and a barbeque.

The pine kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and large fridge/ freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, food processor, etc. The ground floor rooms benefit from central heating in the winter months, and the bedrooms have independant electric heaters.

The first floor is a beautifully converted 'grenier'. Off the airy landing there are five ensuite bedrooms, each retaining a wealth of original features including stone walls, exposed beams, pine and chestnut floors.

All bedrooms have bedside lighting, shutters to windows, and electric heating

Folding beds can be added to rooms 1, 4 or 5 at an extra cost of €45 per person per stay.

For an extra room you could add La Bonne, (sleeps 2).Bed linen is included and all beds are made up on arrival.

Travel cots and high chairs are available free of charge - please reserve these on your Booking Form.

Towels are not included.

Baby sitting by native English speakers is available on request.A prepared meal is available on your arrival at a cost of 5€ per head. This has proved very popular with guests who are tired after a long drive.
