French Language Courses
For 14 to 18 year olds
A week of total immersion in the French language together with cultural visits and activities, to be held at La Boulinerie.
A structured language learning experience, with many of the benefits of an exchange and the security of group accommodation in a bilingual family environment.
The courses are aimed at students of 14 – 18 years.
Each participant will be individually assessed and follow an appropriate programme to revise previously learnt French, build on vocabulary and increase confidence. The classes will be run by experienced language teachers.
There will be an emphasis on oral group work and conversation with native French speakers.

The Programme
Following collection from our nearest airport, La Rochelle, (Ryanair from Stansted) there will be a welcoming supper with a presentation of the programme for the week
Classes will take place for three hours each morning, Monday to Friday, followed by a light lunch.
After lunch there will be a variety of cultural experiences and visits, such as guided tours to a local château, a cinema visit followed by a discussion on the film, a guided tour around a local chocolate factory (all in French!).
There will also be a visit to a local school to meet pupils of a similar age and participate in either a sports or language lesson.
Saturday morning will be spent at leisure, with trips to local shops or to La Rochelle, before returning to the airport.

Accommodation
At La Boulinerie, Vendee, France
The students will be accommodated in twin rooms with ensuite bathrooms.
For school parties accommodation will be in three (supervised) houses in shared
rooms with shared bathroom facilities.
Cost: £495.00
Includes tuition, accommodation, trips and airport transfer.
Does not include flights.
